Bring Me the Horizon – Freshly Crushed
English rock band from Sheffield got together in 2004 and they keep raising ever since. Aggressive melancholics reckless with traditions. They range between death/metal/melodic core and electro metal with elements of pop, heavy rock, punk, numetal and of course emo style, lazily looking dead on the horizon. In their music, they are working on dismantling the old-empty world trying to hurry over it with sound, massive guitar walls that bust you like a tsunami. The contrast between quieter and louder passages could be compared to the warmth of the sauna heat/frost/heat/frost… Their deep lyrics and melodic refrains that are composed by the band members are unforgettable. The main composers are Oliver Sykes and Jordan Fish. The sound of the songs is massive and pompous, backed by keyboards and multiplied guitars by which you can tell the influence of Linkin Park and Justin Bieber. The keyboardist Jordan Fish joined the band after they went through changes in 2014.
Bring Me the Horizon aka BMTH have already risen above the sun, got the fame and awards and as they keep experimenting they progress with every new album. They will present it all with their new album Amo (January 2019). The great single Mantra and Wonderful Life (feat. Dano Filth) from the new album Amo is promising great musical experience despite the existential pain presented in it, as the only possible horizon is still death. Bring it on, baby!
