Constantly growing Franz Ferdinand complements the line-up of Rock for People
When Franz Ferdinand played in the Czech Republic for the first time, their debut CD was not available here. Yet there was a massive interest to see their performance at Roxy in Prague. Over 3.5 million copies of the eponymous album have been sold and Take Me Out or The Dark Of The Matinée is one of the jewels of the indie rock scene. The band will bring their current album Always Ascending at Hradec Kralove airport but will also give us the songs by which they had conquered the world.
If you ask what music formed young people at the beginning of the new millennium, Franz Ferdinand is one of it. From the more direct guitar sound, they later came to the electronics, the catchy tunes, and the chorus elements remained. Even though the Scottish foursome never managed to get into Czech radio stations, its popularity has been progressively increasing. The band added other hits to their discography, like Do You Want To and No You Girls. The singer Alex Kapranos and his comrades arrived in Hradec Králové for the first time in 2012. As it was just before releasing their fourth album gentlemen served Rock for People their proven hits. No one protested the show had everything!
Franz Ferdinand is always doing their very best, Franz Ferdinand does not age. Even if you experience constant nostalgy, the music is fresh, the energy comes from every sound, and you don’t want to miss it!
